Ski and Snowboarders Guide to Snowsports Events this Summer

The Sun might be shining, it might not be, this is Summer in the UK after all. But rain or shine, snow or blizzard, one thing is for sure – there is plenty going on for Snowsports enthusiasts right through to the next Winter Season!

From Lesson Pack Savings and Freestyle Events across the Summer months to Winter Launch weekenders! From the newest event in town, Northern Snow Show in Manchester, to everyone’s favourite, the National Snow Show in London.

Skiing and Snowboarding is now a year-round sport here in the UK and whether a beginner or an experienced hand on the slope, there is always something for adults, juniors and families too…

Northern Snow Show – 5th & 6th October

A brand-new Snow Show is coming to Chill Factore on 5th & 6th October – if there’s one thing you do this week, block out your calendars and register now for your completely FREE ticket!

Alongside Chill Factore and The Snow Centre, around 30 dedicated Winter sports brands like Head, OOSC, Neilson, Snow+Rock, and many others, plus Snowsports organisations like Snow Camp and DSUK will come together to create a completely new experience for visitors. The best of the industry showcasing their wares, and the chance to get out on the longest indoor REAL SNOW slope in the UK,

Visitors will have the chance to test the latest equipment, book ski and snowboard lessons, sledging and Lift Passes, and engage in many talks led by industry professionals plus more!

Get Your Kit Out Weekend – 28th & 29th September

Kick start your winter at The Snow Centre as the popular Get Your Kit Out Weekend returns at The Snow Centre in Hemel Hempstead this September!

It is the perfect time to dust off your equipment, get it serviced and get ready for your next winter holiday.

With Ski Lessons, Snowboard Lessons and Lift Passes too, there’s something for everyone, plus they’ll be joined by partners and Snowsports brands too.

London Snow Show – 19th & 20th October

The popular London Snow Show is back on 19th & 20th October at the Excel London.

With over 80 exhibitors so far, the London Snow Show brings together a number of inspirational speakers, new technology and some of the best gear in the industry all under one roof!

The Beginner slope will be back, along with the Jibworx Rail Jam, Family Zone & more, plus there’s the chance to have an introduction to roller skating and meet the inspirational speakers!

Full Park Fridays – Across the Summer

If you love Freestyle, whether that be jumping off a kicker or throwing a 180 on a rail, The Snow Centre and Chill Factore’s Full Park Friday events are not to be missed.

The Park setup is suitable for everyone from rookie freestylers to pro riders. Not only that, The Snow Centre and Chill Factore will be joined by brands and partners both on and off the slope.

Chill Factore Full Parks – Friday 21st June, Friday 19th July, Friday 16th August, Friday 13th September.

Moguls Sessions – Across the Summer

Experienced on the slope and love moguls? Do you want to try the moguls but not sure where to start? This summer at both Chill Factore and The Snow Centre, Summer Mogul Days are BACK on selected dates.

Guests with a Lift Pass can try out the moguls at no extra cost, and all passes include complimentary coaching too so you can be racing down the moguls in no time.

The Snow Centre Moguls: Friday 19th & Saturday 20th July, Friday 16th & Saturday 17th August, Friday 20th & Saturday 21st September, Friday 18th & Saturday 19th October.

Chill Factore Moguls: Thursday 4th – Saturday 6th July, Thursday 1st August – Saturday 3rd August and Thursday 29th – Saturday 31st August.
