The Northern Snow Show is being held at Chill Factor^e, located at Beyond within Trafford Quays Leisure Village and is less than four miles from Manchester City Centre. We are opposite The Trafford Centre and conveniently located just off the M60 motorway at junction 10.

While we have a good amount of parking available on site, we recommend travelling to Northern Snow via public transport. Manchester Piccadilly Rail Station is not far away and has plenty of bus, tram or low-cost taxi options. Not only will you be doing your bit for the environment by utilising public transport, you’ll also have the opportunity to enjoy the Apres inspired food, drink and entertainment to it’s fullest!

Parking on-site is for Northern Snow Show guests only and must be pre-booked once you have booked your event tickets or snow activities. See the ‘Parking at Northern Snow’ section for more information.

If you are planning on driving, you will need to have free, prebooked a car parking space. The information to book a parking space is sent on email as part of your booking confirmation for either Northern Snow event entry tickets, pre-booked Lessons, Lift Passes or Snow Park activities. 

We are located opposite The Trafford Centre and conveniently located just off the M60 motorway at junction 10. Chill Factor^e is signposted from the motorway exit but thanks to our fabulously iconic building you won’t miss us! 

We offer free parking and have over 500 car parking spaces available including dedicated disabled parking bays. All parking, including Blue Badge holder parking, must be pre-booked, for free, before arrival. Our car parks will be controlled by parking attendants and entry to the car park requires a parking booking confirmation.

There are regular main-line trains into Manchester Piccadilly station, which is in the centre of Manchester. Further information on train timetables and booking tickets can be found on the Transpennine Express website. Book your train online without any added booking fees, just like Chill Factor^e!

You can take a taxi from Manchester Piccadilly train station, which takes 15-20 minutes and costs approximately £15.

There are also regular train services to local stations at Urmston, Eccles and Salford Crescent, both of which have regular onward bus connections to The Trafford Centre bus station.

Busses

The nearest bus stop is located directly outside Chill Factore or alternatively many buses stop at the Trafford Centre bus station. On arrival head towards the Trafford Quays Leisure Village and then follow the signs to Chill Factor^e or Beyond and you will be with us in a matter of minutes.

Trams

Conveniently located just a short walk away from Chill Factore, at the Trafford Centre Tram Stop, the local Tram service makes travelling from the City Centre or from surrounding areas and transport links really simple and ensures your journey is not only straightforward but also environmentally friendly.

Just ask for Chill Factore! We’re very confident that any one of the fantastic taxi drivers in the North West will deliver you straight to our door. For peace of mind the journey from Manchester City Centre to Chill Factore should take around 15-20 minutes and costs approximately £12-15 in a taxi. There is a taxi rank outside Manchester Piccadilly Rail Station, and there are always plenty of Uber cabs around the area. 

Looking to get a taxi from Chill Factore as part of your homeward journey? With the Trafford Centre just over the road, there are usually plenty of Uber drivers in the area or alternatively you can book a car through a local service: Passenger Cars on 0161 747 8000.

The nearest airports to Chill Factor^e are Manchester Airport (20 minutes away) and Liverpool John Lennon Airport (40 minutes away).

Directions from Manchester Airport

If using public transport, the most direct route is on the number 18 bus service, which runs every 30 minutes direct from Manchester Airport to The Trafford Centre, which is opposite Chill Factor^e.

Alternatively there are regular buses, trains and Metrolink services into Manchester city centre, with regular connections to The Trafford Centre from there.

If driving from Manchester airport, you should join the M56 motorway, then the M60 (westbound) motorway, exiting at junction 10 for Chill Factor^e.

Directions from Liverpool John Lennon Airport

If driving from Liverpool John Lennon Airport join the A5300, then take the M62 (eastbound) to the M60 motorway. Follow the M60 (westbound), exiting at junction 10.

Parking at Northern Snow is limited and we recommend using public transport where possible as that would help many more people enjoy the show (and help you enjoy the event food, drink and entertainment too)!

Parking on site is free but requires pre-registration.

First you will need to book your show tickets for your desired day and then we will send you an email with travel options, directions and instructions on how to register your vehicle for parking. If you have booked event tickets, pre-booked a lesson, lift pass or snow park activity and can’t find the information to book your parking, please contact us at info@northernsnowshow.com

Parking availability is on a first-come, first-served basis and, while we don’t expect it to be an issue, if you do struggle to find parking there are plenty of public transport options available as alternatives.

Green Overflow Parking

While most of our parking is onsite, some guests will be allocated parking in our Green Overflow Car Park. This car park is accessed from the northbound Trafford Boulevard (B5214), with the turning almost immediately after exiting Junction 10 of the M60. The red line on the map below shows how to access this car park from the M60, with the green line showing the pedestrian route from the Green Overflow parking to the show entrance.

Get a ticket for Northern Snow. Tickets are completely free for either Saturday 5th or Sunday 6th October.

When you arrive and check in and, as long as you meet our minimum main slope standards, you can book a 1-hour lift pass that includes your ski’s or board, boots and helmet.

Bring some gloves and a warm jacket, or you can rent these from our team. Simple as that…

To ensure everyone gets a chance to get out on our 180 meter real snow slope, we will not be taking advance bookings for our lift passes, they will only be bookable once on-site.

Please arrive at the time specified on your ticket, as early arrivals may not be permitted access.

There will be adult and junior lessons along with specialist lessons available at Chill Factore across the weekend. 

While we don’t require ID for you to enter the show, we will need to see and scan a QR code that will be sent by email after registration.

General admission tickets aren’t available yet. Register your interest on the website to be the first to know when they go on sale
